Hey everyone...  It’s been a while between stories as I have had some time off racing over the summer break. I am now riding the new 2010 fuel injected Honda CRF 450 and would like to thank Quick-Fix Honda Mildura for their continued support.  The bike is lots of fun and very competitive straight off the showroom floor.  I have currently raced Mildura ArenaX and Ararat 2day MX without any adjustments to the stock bike and I am impressed.

Mildura Arena Motocross

This was held at Olympic Park on the 30^th of January and was a good nights racing with some good competition from away. My night was a bit up and down (literally) with a win and some top 2 finishes but a few bad starts bought on some crashes as I was trying to get to the front of the pack. In the Lites my competition came from Brenton Keep, Josh Spanos and Mark Grove and in the open class Brenton Keep, Kane Scanlen and Jason Wood all rode solid.

Ararat 2 Day Motocross

Held on the 13^th and 14^th of February, local riders led the way around the Ararat Motocross track. Jason Wood and myself tackled the A-Grade Open class and I managed to take the 3^rd step on the podium. In the B-Grade Open Jackson Caldwell stepped on the podium and Ty Rayfield rode solid. B-Grade Lites was won by Josh Murtagh and Ty Rayfield also rode the B-Grade Lites. The C-Grade Open racing was bar banging between Daniel Marshall and James Heenan for the top spot and Reece Yetman close behind in fourth gave us all a lesson on skimming whoops. Daniel took the top step on the box. The C-Grade Lites was all Jono Trenorden as he took all three wins and the C-grade Dash for Cash. It was an awesome effort from all the local riders and really was a fun weekend at the races.

Coming up next will be the first round of motocross at Robinvale which will take place on the 28^th of February. Anyone with a bike should get down there and have a go; they ‘re great people and have put together a really fun track over the past 2 years. I will let you know some more details shortly.
