Sadly early this morning (5/6/09) Bronte Holland passed away.

According to fullnoise he suffered a stroke yesterday and passed away with his family and good mates by his side. Bronte was a well respected pro rider on the Australian MX/SX circuit. In 2007 Bronte finally scored a factory ride with 07Yamaha but shortly after suffered a career ending crash which left him in a wheelchair due to a broken back; he was told he would never walk again. In less then 12 months he could stand with a walking frame and was determined to use his legs.

Bronte's buddies were what mattered most to him and always came first. He was well loved in the pits and will be remembered by all.
