Back Riding

Finally it's time to throw a leg back over the bike and get out and do some riding. Its been the allocated time given by the specialist (4 weeks since the surgery) and it all feels to have healed up perfectly. To the guys at Sportsmed S.A and my Specialist, they did a great job during surgery and I am greatful that my collarbone is now back to full strength (two plates, screws and a bone graft). Six weeks off the bike felt like six months with all the races I missed but there is only one way to prevent that and its not get hurt, which in some cases just can't be helped.

Yesterday I had a ride on my new 09 Honda CRF250, my collarbone was 100% and my speed was surprisingly still ok. I have posted photo's in the gallery for you to check out so have a look and let me know what you think! Unfortunately I have missed alot of races that really upsets my season including MX Nationals rounds 2,3 & 4, Local MX round 2, VIC Championship round 1, Horsham Two Day Open and the Easter Arenacross.

I am planning on racing again this weekend at the Swan Hill Two Day Open, then Robinvale the weekend after. The week after Robinvale is the VIC Championships round 2 which is held at Ballarat. Following Ballarat will be the next two rounds of the MX Nationals which I am really pumped for. June 14th is Murray Bridge S.A and the following week is Wanneroo in Perth W.A. I will post my callander dates for the rest of the season on the site this week so if there is a possibility you can make it to a race somewhere please do. You will not be dissapointed with all the bikes and racing that goes on, good way to spend your sunday.
